Simplifying Marketing and Sales

If you are anything like me, you really hate the feeling of being pushy when it comes to marketing and promoting yourself and your business. I think we hate it because we hate when people sell to us in that manner.

I read a great article by Sonia Simone from Copyblogger called:
How To Stop Marketing (And What to do Instead)

It is a quick read with a simple message…. which is why it works so well! I thought it was great and I recorded some of my thoughts in the video below.

    No doubt! It may sound kinda “zen” like but I totally agree that often the best way to sell is to not sell. In the age of so much hyperbole and utter crap, the best way to really convince people is simply to give away as mush as possible for free, prove quality and get people interested by having an honest and direct manner in opposistion to the slick sales techniques of many,

      Right on Steve. And this approach requires patience and it also requires skill. The good news is that if you are a business person in it for the long run, these 2 things will already be in place anyways so you will come out a winner in the end!

    I couldnt agree more with Steve comments above, I think the way you operate your business is a good example of this. You provide amazing value for little cost and always over deliver on your products and services so this entices people to want to buy from you. Excellent post!

    I can definitely relate with this. You know my feelings on cold calling. LOL

    I think the key is confidence though. Good call. If you don’t seem confidant in your own skills why would anyone else?

    I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your web site. Do you ever run into any browser compatibility issues?
