Definitely easier said that done but you also said something very powerful in your comment. You finally take action when you are "forced" to do so. Knowing this about yourself, you could put yourself into more situations where you are forced to deliver on commitments. It may feel very uncomfortable but imagine doing that over and over again for an entire year. How much further ahead would you be? How much further ahead would all of us be?

Brad and Justin

Interesting ideas once again,I am afraid I am guilty of procrastination, I tend to keep putting things off that I dont like doing and eventually find out that when I am absolutely forced into action and do what ever it is I have been avoiding I find out it was no where as bad as what I perceived it to be.
An example of this is I have already started stressing about a commitment that I have made to create a video Blog for my new website. So I will take your comments on board and not allow this task to overwhelm me.
I guess when we step out and try new things it is easy to get paralyzed with self doubt.
I think the point that you made is powerful, we are all so much stronger than we realise and we should not allow any task to overwhelm us. Sometimes easier said than done!

Thanks for the comments Ted and Karen.

Since filming that vid, I have moved into this state where I'm almost in "attack" mode with my todo list. I have everything laid out that I want to complete in a day and as soon as I complete one item, I move as fast as possible to the next item.

Its interesting because it puts me into more of a flow state and I've been able to really get a lot of stuff done this way.

Hi Justin and Brad,

I agree that sometimes we make mountains out of molehills and over-estimate how much time we can get our tasks done. The email example is great as it's so true. Coming back from vacation is so much worse when we know that we will have a mountain of emails to get through. But, just tackling that problem and getting it done is key.

I'm also guilty of procrastinating on things that I don't want to do. But, I have learned that it's seldom as bad as what my imagination as made it out to be.

Great work as always guys! Some really good tips there - a huge todo list can definitely seem overwhelming, but it won't get any smaller if you are scared of it.
