I used to incorrectly assume that “getting into the habit” of doing something would be a permanent solution to removing negative habits in my life. In fact, there are books that even talk about the concept of doing something every day for 21 days is long enough to create a habit.
The problem is… a habit is really just an urge or a nudge from within to do something. Even if you are in the habit of doing something positive for your life, does not mean you will always FEEL like doing that thing every day.
Here are some of my thoughts on what it takes to keep your positive habits alive, especially when you don’t feel like doing them.
