Friday Ignite 4 – A Cool Thank You Note I Got
Posted by Justin Popovic on December 9, 2011 · 16 Comments
So I was checking my email this morning and I found a really cool thank you letter from someone who I hadn’t actually met before.
So you’re probably wondering… if I had never met him, how the hell did I deserve the thanks?
Check this out to get the story:
Since filming the vid, I had a few more exchanges with Dean. Very cool guy with a great story.
THE BEST PART…
His product that he had some success with, was all about a topic I am currently needing advice and coaching on. He sent me a copy at no cost cuz he’s cool like that.
It’s all about outsourcing and Virtual Assistants. AWESOME TIMING!! I can’t wait to read it but in the mean time, go check out his offer here:

Let me know what you thought about this overall topic in general. Is there someone you need to thank or acknowledge?

Hey Justin,
Great video man… A lot of people, no matter who they are have highs and lows with life and their business. There is nothing better that someone actually taking the time to reach out to you and let you know that you have touched them, made an impact or just helped them out.
To me, this is where the real satisfaction comes..
Hey Chris. Thanks for the comment man.
Couldn’t agree more. I experienced it today
Great video Justin and a nice reminder to send that same positive energy back to those that we learn from. I try to do that as much as possible via the WF and also by producing the content I create (along with my team)…and last but certainly NOT least I always make sure to give my customers a personal thanks as I’m capable.
Inspiration is a never ending cycle…and that’s a good thing:)

Hey Adam
Great comment thanks! I like the part about personally thanking your customers. I think it says a lot about you and your business and it goes a long way in the development of relationships with your audience.
Justin
Great video Justin. I just love getting emails from my customers letting me know about how they used my content. Just this morning I sent my list a thank you note and a free gift for taking the time to fill out a survey for me. Works both ways.

Just last night I did this around 3:30 in the morning. It’s something I’ve done.. oh maybe 3 times now, to people who have made an impact on me in one way or another. I guess for myself, I would want to know if something I did or said helped someone, and I like to do unto others *smile*
Plus you know, sometimes people need encouragement. Even successful people. I imagine everyone has times where they might wonder why they are doing things, beyond earning money.
So when someone puts something out there that helps you or encourages you, it’s a great idea to let them know. It might help kindle their fire, and who knows, it may help inspire them to go even farther, and put out something even more fantastic the next time out!
I’ve gotten some pretty heart touching response to my letters, and that makes me feel wonderful too. It’s helped me to realize that I am right, that people do need feedback, and not just negative *chuckle*
Good one Justin
Thanks!
(Oh and PS, looks like your commentluv is no longer supported- you can scale back to the fcurrent ree version if you still want to give people the chance to link back to their blogs. Or, you know, haha visit my site and buy the new Premium through my link

It is kind, and in the festival days, we should send our best wishes to the person helped us before.
Hey Justin
Its great to get an appreciation letter like this , when you think about it , these kind words are priceless.
As you mention its a bit of reminder for us to look for ways to show appreciation to people in our lives whether it be in business or our personal life.
Giving out compliments is an important element of leadership something that I try to work on improving.
Thanks for the inspiration

Great video. Its always great to receive feedback and to know something helped. I need to look into VAs and outsourcing more than I am now.
This may be off the subject a little, but I have never hesitated to call a company and complain about their product if something was wrong with it, BUT I also call companies to tell them when their products are just great. Thanks for bringing up an important point. We all like to hear nice things and it doesn’t take long to email or call to let someone know how you feel about them or their company or whatever. I love your idea about keeping them together to browse through when you’re feeling down. Great video!
Thanks Sheila. You are definitely one of the few who take time to appreciate when things go “right”. Good on you… it will come back to you in like kind
One of the best things in life is to know that you are appreciated and that you have helped out somebody. This should apply both in our personal lives and business as well, don’t you think?
Cheers for success!

You have that talent Justin. I like the video! And you are so thoughtful. That guy who sent you a thank you message was also thoughtful. When did you receive his email?
Thanks for sharing your experience and gratitude!

Thanks Paula. This was all pretty recently. I have actually been chatting with him a few times since so it worked out great. Thanks for stopping by the blog.
You are one lucky boy. How’s your frequent chat with him so far? You deserve the thank you note! Keep it up!
