This is one of my favorite topics.
The “unwilling to do” list.
Are there actions you have been unwilling to take that COULD be moving you closer to your goals/dreams?
(BTW I obviously am talking about actions that DON’T harm other people… you know ethical stuff lol)
If you have things you are unwilling to do I want to challenge you to trash them and get to work. Where might your life take you if you commit to this?
Please leave me a comment with your thoughts.
Hey Justin,
I definitely have a few things on “Don’t want to do list.”
1 I have avoided PPC. I’ve tried it a few times, but havent had much success with it.
2 I hate cold calling – But I need clients
Thats all I can think of at the moemnt I will put them on my to do list. Here goes the old comforort zone again.

Hey Michael
Good stuff man. i can relate to BOTH of those. Especially paying for traffic.. it can be so intimidating but also required if you want to reach the next level in business.
Glad you’re stretching that comfort zone π
thanks
justin
You had me at Buju…
Seriously though, great video man. Great to see your personality shining through on these videos (as well as your promotional vids).
I think one of the hardest things to deal with is self-doubt so videos like this are really important.

LOL thanks man. Yeah its been a gradual personality reveal but ill keep at it. I may have to do another tobogganing video π
GREAT video Justin. As Ted mentioned, you’ve got P-E-R-S-O-N-A-L-I-T-Y and it’s on steriods, looking good!
It must have been something in the air this week, because I too have been looking at what I have not been willing to do (go on camera) and how we all limit our experiences. I chose to use a great comic’s video (Kyle Cease gave a 30 minute comedic talk at the Awesomeness Fest about the power of being unlimited) in a post this week about this very topic.
OK – looking for that flip camera now….

HAHA thanks Susan.
And SO GLAD to hear that you will be stepping in front of the camera. That’s awesome. I’ll be watching for your videos and we can try to 1-up each other in the personality department!!
Great video, Justin!
I know from experience that you push the envelope – and yourself – more than most! I think that it takes a lot of courage to make that your approach to life, regardless of the outcome each time. But the payoff is living an exciting, fulfilling life.
Thanks so much for leading the way on this with your attitude. I’m sure it encourages many people.
Diane
Thanks Diane. And I appreciate the kind words and the feedback that encourages me to keep going. It can be a bit lonely sometimes when you push yourself and try new things not knowing if they will work well or bomb! But you’re right, it is all part of the excitement of living life at that level.
have a great weekend

Yes, it’s time to trash the airy-fairy intro music and replace it with Buju. Now I know what Buju is – maybe.
So I just had this vision of a jar full of marbles. Kind of the reverse of emptying your bucket list. Fill of the jar with marbles – those things that you dread doing. I think I’ve put 3 marbles in my jar this month. That’s a lot compared to previous months. Well, maybe August was bigger, but still. What will I do in October…hmm
When I find myself continually making an excuse to NOT do something I envision myself reading about someone I know using that idea successfully. That kind of pushes me into the action mode. Not with everything. There is some heavy duty junk lying around here. Man dude, only so many hours in the day.
Thanks for the movo! Kater

LMAO @ buju. I would have assumed you loved Buju Banton.. guess not.
Love the marble idea. Great visual indicator of your progress… lets you get more wrapped up and emotionally involved in your mission/goal/etc…
Also like your comment about envision people already doing it. Modeling others… what a great way to make progress π
Awesome vid buddy, really got me thinking, I think I’ll start comprising my unwilling to do list now.

Thanks Trev! Glad you liked it and I’ll be curious to hear some updates on that “unwilling to do list” π
Great video, definitely got me to look at another approach to the way I do things
Thanks Justin

Hi Justin,
I have to admit that I’ve labelled my to do list as my taking too damn long to do list π There is one thing that I have to do, that I’ve been meaning to do, and that if I never do it I will never succeed, and that’s to FINALLY build a list. I’ve always found something more important to, or I’ve looked at it and thought that it would be to difficult to do, so rather than take action, I haven’t π The most annoying (and slightly stronger expressions to that effect) is that I get an autoresponder with my hosting and I’m allowed a 20k list for free, and I’ve never used it… sheesh, mutter, mutter, mumble. That will change π
Have fun,
Mike
P.S Thanks for the Real Money Fast download, I’ve just started listening to it, and it’s great π

Hey Mike
Glad to hear you like the real money fast audio!
As for building your list… DEFINITELY. If you have been unwilling to do that, it is never too late to get started. And I bet once you focus on it, it will grow fast just like your fitness did with your rowing challenge π
Great video Justin. I find myself looking forward to receiving your emails every Friday for the next “Friday Ignite”.
The topic of this particular video really hits home for a lot of us. We all have our “unwilling to do list” and for many of us it comes down to irrational fears.
My unwilling to do list? The one that comes to mind is the fact I haven’t gotten myself to create an audio or video presentation.
During my life I’ve been a performing jazz guitarist, taught Mathematics at a university, did direct sales in my own insurance agency, and have spent the past 25 years as a software developer dealing with clients, giving presentations to user groups, and teaching OOP.
So what is it that makes me run from a microphone and cam???
I guess it’s time for me to get a lid from an envelope box . . .

Hey Bruce,
Wow thanks for your comment. Means a lot to hear that you look forward to my Friday emails π
We have a similar background. I was a software tech-sales rep for 7 years in the corporate world. Taught 100s of courses to small and large audiences up to 100 people at a time.
Yet… when I went off on my own to be a coach/speaker, I did not want to get on video. Took me a good 1.5-2 years before I actually started making audio/video content.
Very uncomfortable at first but over time I got used to it. Now I make at least 6-7 videos per week for various reasons (product launches, messages to my list, interviews, etc..)
Even posting my Ignite videos I sometimes get a bit of nervous energy before posting but I think its all about our perception of that nervous energy. If we say “this feeling means fear” then we run away. But if we say “this feeling means I’m pumped up and ready to move up a bit further in my own success ladder”, then we move forward with confidence.
Thanks again for your comment. Good luck making those audio/video products π
Hi there are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog
world but I’m trying to get started and set up my own.
Do you require any coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would
be really appreciated!
