Friday Ignite 11 – Be Willing To Push Your Limits

You may have heard me talking about my new early morning routine.

I’ve been getting up at 4am most days.

Pushed it to 3am a couple of times this week 🙂

This is not just me being crazy. It is an experiment. An experiment in pushing my limits and limiting beliefs. A push to give my absolute ALL to what I do.

What do you think? Tell me your thoughts below…

Another great video man. I actually find myself eagerly awaiting these on Friday now – a great way to start any day.

I can really feel your renewed self confidence these past few videos – that on it’s own is motivating IMO.

Thanks man. Definitely feeling a lot of confidence these days. Still building of course but the whole “pushing limits” experiment has actually caused me to reach new levels of confidence!

      thanks

    Hey Justin,

I’ve been really enjoying your motivation videos…congrats on creating great content!

Just curious…on the days that you are getting up at 3 & 4…what time do you typically go to bed?

    Keep up the great work!

    Sincerely,

    Dan

      Hey thanks very much Dan

It depends on the day. Sometimes I get to bed by about 9:30pm but other days I’m up till 11:30 or midnight. I average about 5 hours sleep per night 🙂

      thanks

    Great video, Justin.

I know you’ll achieve what you want to. There are 75 days left in this year, and I have some totally achievable goals in mind to achieve in those 75 days. The outcomes from those goals are out of my hands, but the goals themselves are not. I think that our fear of the outcomes holds us back….but they are two different things.

I believe you are right when you say that if we keep taking action (intelligent, informed action), something will work out.

    All the best, Justin.

    Great video as always Justin.

All too often we live within false limits, usually self imposed, but sometimes created by external negative forces.

At one time, scientists felt they had proven that it was impossible for man to break the 4 minute mile barrier – until Roger Bannister did it in 1954. Now the 4 minute mile sets the bar for middle distance runners.

We all have to test our limits. Most of the time we’ll find they weren’t really limits – just one more mile marker.

As for sleep patterns, I don’t seem to have any. I get 5 hours a night but rarely the same time. I’ve always loved working at night – no phone calls, nobody knocking on the door, few distractions, and the internet is fast. Consequently, I typically go to bed sometime between 4am and 7am. The only problem to my non-schedule life is when I have to meet a client at 9:00am. In such cases, I’ve been known to go to my appointments before going to bed, or just skip sleeping that day.

    Bruce,
